Upon arrival, the staff greeted us warmly, and the reception set a light-hearted tone with a humorous 'goodnight' in Greek-a delightful touch that showcased their hospitality. Our room, while it had an old-world charm, was impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. Each morning, we looked forward to the complimentary buffet breakfast. The variety was commendable, ensuring everyone could find something to enjoy while professionally crafted with local ingredients. A highlight of our stay was dining at the hotel's restaurant, Pizzeria Da Leonardo. The ambiance was relaxed yet sophisticated, perfect for a family vibe. We savoured a selection of dishes that brilliantly blended traditional culinary techniques with modern innovation. Every bite spoke to carefully curated local flavours-a great testament to their commitment to quality. Conveniently nestled near a tram stop, we easily ventured into Strasbourg for the Christmas markets. Our experience at the hotel was delightful, making it an ideal spot for food enthusiasts looking for both comfort and culinary excellence.
